Ghanaian highlife musician Kojo Antwi has entertained audiences in France during celebrations marking Ghana’s 69th Independence Day.
The performance formed part of activities organised by members of the Ghanaian community in France to commemorate the anniversary of the country’s independence.
Kojo Antwi, known for his highlife classics and energetic stage presence, performed several of his popular songs, drawing enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Attendees said the performance brought excitement to the celebration and helped create a festive atmosphere as Ghanaians in the diaspora marked the national occasion.
The event also highlighted the role of music and culture in connecting Ghanaians living abroad and reinforcing a shared sense of national identity.
Ghana celebrates its Independence Day on 6 March each year to mark its freedom from British colonial rule in 1957.
